Once in a Lifetime is a Santa Barbara wedding and event coordinating company. It unofficially started nearly 20 years ago, when Dalina Michaels set out to plan her own wedding and realized how much work it was! From there, the business grew organically- first by helping friends and now, helping brides from all over who are looking to get married in Santa Barbara-without spending a fortune! As a former television news producer, Dalina loves creating timelines and figuring out all the details so that YOU can relax and ENJOY your wedding day.
Dalina is a graduate of Westmont College with a degree in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts. When she's not at a wedding, she loves to spend time with her husband, Mike (long time Sportscaster at KEYT-NewsChannel 3 in Santa Barbara), and their 2 daughters. Once in a Lifetime was honored to be named Finalist "Best Wedding Planner- 2017 and 2016" by the Santa Barbara Independent "Reader's Choice" Awards!
Her team has also been named : "Best Wedding/Event Planner 2015" By the Santa Barbara NewsPress Reader's Choice Awards, and was runner up for "Best Wedding Planner" in 2014.
